Dog Aid Society of Scotland has successfully applied to the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) to convert from a Company limited by Guarantee to a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) with effect from 15 October 2018. This change of legal status has been made in order to reduce the administrative requirements of reporting both to Companies House and the Charity Regulator and has no effect on the purposes or operations of the Society which remain as previously. We will continue to operate as a registered charity with the same charity number but as we are no longer a limited company the registered company number used formerly and use of the word ‘Limited’ in our charity name no longer applies.
