Handsome, young Rory is looking for a new home that must be very experienced with dogs. He has some behaviours that need to be worked on and his new home must be willing and able to train him. Rory needs to learn manners and to not try and bully people into getting what he wants. Rory will need a lot of attention and so his new home must have enough time to give him.

Rory needs stimulation and he can become destructive if he does not get enough attention. Our Welfare Team will be on hand to help with any training support for Rory in his new home, but he must have a home with experience of handling difficult dog behaviours.

Still young, Rory gets excited when welcoming people to the home and can jump up. He can do this when meeting people outside too if he gets attention. He usually looks for a toy to bring visitors. Rory will bark if he hears a strange noise or sees people or dogs passing the house.

Rory loves playing with other dogs and will still be keen even if the other dog is not. He will ignore cats. On walks, Rory pulls on the lead. He has been left off the lead when nothing else is around and loves chasing a ball. His recall is okay if there are no distractions and he will come for a bouncing ball. But these are areas that will need to be worked on in his new home.

Rory is used to having a garden and his new home would need to provide this too as he needs somewhere to let off steam or relax. He loves being brushed. He can be left for several hours.

Rory loves playing with toys and having his tummy rubbed. He loves chasing a ball and going on long walks. He travels well by car. Rory really enjoys rolling in water and mud and loves to swim.

Rory is a lovely, happy boy and would love an active and very experienced home to help him become the best companion. Please apply for Rory if this is you!
