Phoebe is looking for a new home with Dachshund experience. She would love a home with a garden and company most of the time as this is what she is used to. Phoebe loves being made a fuss of and would enjoy scent work.

Phoebe barks when visitors come to the home but will settle. She is bit weary of other children outside the home running up to her. She can be nervous at the vet and she barks when she is nervous.

Phoebe can also run away in fear and bark if dogs suddenly come up to her, but can be fine if she sees them in advance. She walks well, she wears a harness and is used to walking off lead and she doesn’t pull when she is on the lead. Phoebe’s recall is good with her current owner and she responds well to commands. She particularly loves running around in a grassy field. Phoebe would enjoy doing a job such as scent work, she enjoys sniffing around.

Phoebe can be left alone for several hours, the TV or radio is normally left on to keep her company. Phoebe is always lifted into the car and travels fine on short journeys. She is not keen on baths but will tolerate them and doesn’t mind being brushed.

Phoebe’s favourite place at home is lying on the arm of the sofa to watch life outside the window. She loves being petted and lying on your lap. She is a very loving little girl and will follow you around the house.

Phoebe is an affectionate and curious Dachshund with some nerves. If you think you have the right home for her, please apply above.
