Lola and Buddy are two Spaniels looking to be rehomed together (Buddy is the one with more brown marking on his face). Their new home must have experience of Spaniels. Lola and Buddy are looking for a home where they can have company most of the time and a secure garden to play in.

Lola will need to continue her training. Buddy needs someone who will be patient with him as he is a sensitive boy.

Lola loves cuddles but enjoys being busy. They both love going for long walks so will need an active home. Both travel well in the car.

Lola is a very happy dog, she loves people and attention. She wags her tail when people come to the house and will jump up until she gets attention (behaviour which can be be worked on). If outside and meeting a stranger, she will be timid and not light up until she knows the person is okay. Lola is like this with other dogs as well – she will lie down on her back, submitting to them, and when she knows they are friendly she will run and play with them. Lola loves kids but Buddy gets nervous from the noise and activity of them so we advise their new home does not have children.

Lola will bark at people going by the house or garden. She is not scared by noises but will bark if she is startled by something. On walks, Lola pulls on the lead and her recall needs work, another area where her training needs to continue. But she picks up training very quickly; she tends to know when she has done something wrong and tends not to do it again.

Lola is fine with being washed and brushed. Buddy is not happy with being lifted and so cannot do baths, but is fine with being brushed.

Lola and Buddy play together a lot. Lola loves to chase balls and chew bones. She loves exploring freely on big walks, getting all the sniffs. She has very keen eyes and ears and is always alert for something to chase. She loves getting petted on her chin, belly and neck. Lola loves her family and eating their food!

Buddy is very excited and welcoming towards visitors to the home. He will settle and sit very close to his owner. He will walk closely when out on walks as well. He is not bothered by other dogs when on walks, it is rare for him to even sniff at another dog. Buddy behaves well on the lead and his recall is much better than Lola’s. Buddy is quite a nervous boy and can be stubborn, but once trust is established, he is the most loving dog.

Buddy loves swimming, running and sleeping in your bed!

Both Lola and Buddy are very loving and loyal dogs. If you think you have the perfect home for them, please apply.
