Little Meatball is looking for a new home that has experience with dogs, ideally of Dachshunds. Meatball would need company most of the time, at least for the foreseeable as he is still a puppy and going through training.

Meatball would like a quiet home without a lot of people. He is a very anxious and nervous pup and needs his confidence built up. With his breed traits, he might enjoy doing something like scent work which could also help his confidence.

Meatball is very shy when meeting new people, it takes a while for him to come out of his shell. He will hide behind his owner when he is scared. Meatball is still in the puppy training phase and has not really been left alone. He is still learning toilet training, he is currently still using puppy pads.

On walks, Meatball will sniff other dogs he meets but if they bark or make sudden movements, he backs off scared. As he is so young, Meatball is still learning to walk on the lead and recall.

Meatball is fine travelling in the car. He really likes snacks, cuddles and snoozing, but he is scared of the hoover. Meatball is affectionate, cuddly and sweet, but needs attention most of the time at the moment due to his age and anxiety.

Please apply for Meatball if you are an experienced home with the time and patience to embrace a nervous Dachshund Cross pup.
