This year’s Winter Raffle and Brochure are in support of all the charity’s schemes and services that help dogs across Scotland. Dog Aid Scotland runs a Neutering Scheme, a Veterinary Aid Scheme, a Rehoming and Advice Service and a Bequeath Service. We do not receive any government funding and rely on donations or legacies to allow us to continue our work.
This year, we have experienced a higher demand for our services. So far in 2024, DAS has helped 212 dogs get neutered and 86 dogs receive veterinary treatment. Between the two schemes, this is an increase of 50 more dogs helped by DAS compared to last year. DAS has also rehomed 13 dogs and successfully helped 8 owners keep their dog with advice and training so far this year. Our goal is to create happy homes for dogs in their current homes as well as new homes and we will continue to do this for as long as possible.
