About Us
Dog Aid Scotland is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO). Our premises are based in Edinburgh.
We re-home dogs on a home from home basis. We do not have kennel facilities so ask you to look after the dog until a new home can be found. This means your dog will go straight into its new home alleviating the stress and anxiety a lot of dogs suffer when going into kennels. Please check our Dog Re-Homing page for more details..

Adopt a dog
Dog Aid Scotland prefer not to re-home dogs to people who are working full time unless the dog has been accustomed to this and is happy with the routine of being left. At any one time there may be a few people applying for the same dog, therefore, we try to re-home the dog to the prospective owner whose circumstances best match the dog’s needs. Please note we only re-home within Scotland.
PLEASE NOTE: DOG AID SCOTLAND DOES NOT HAVE KENNEL FACILITIES, ALL OF THE DOGS WE HAVE AVAILABLE FOR RE-HOMING STAY WITH THEIR CURRENT OWNER WHILE WE LOOK FOR A NEW HOME.
Our re-homing fees:
Puppy (up to 6 months): £150. Dogs 6 Months - 8 years: £100. Dogs older than 8 years: £50.
